Coin Shop in Middlesex, NJ — 748 Bound Brook Road
We buy gold coins, silver coins, bullion, 90% silver, and estate collections. We know the difference between melt value and collector value — and we price accordingly.
A coin shop that actually knows coins
Most gold buyers weigh your coins and pay melt. We do not do that.
If you walk into 748 Bound Brook Road with a roll of 90% silver quarters, a few slabbed Morgans, and a gold Eagle, those three things get three different evaluations. The Morgan gets looked at by date, mint mark, and grade before we say a number. The silver quarters get priced off live spot on 90% silver content. The Eagle is bullion — straightforward.
That is how a real coin shop works. We have been doing this in central New Jersey for over 15 years. We see collections from Middlesex, Bound Brook, Dunellen, Piscataway, Green Brook, North Plainfield, and South Plainfield on a regular basis.
What we buy
Gold coins: American Eagles (all sizes), Maple Leafs, Krugerrands, pre-1933 U.S. gold (Saints, Libs, Indians), foreign gold coins.
Silver coins: Morgan dollars, Peace dollars, American Silver Eagles, 90% silver (dimes, quarters, half dollars), 40% silver halves, silver rounds, proof sets with silver content.
Bullion: Silver bars, gold bars, silver rounds, any form of bullion from any mint.
Coin collections: Albums, folders, rolls, estate lots, safe-deposit box finds, inherited collections. Bring it as-is. We sort it.
Rare and collector coins: Slabbed PCGS or NGC coins, better-date U.S. coins, key dates. We look these up before making an offer.
Metal value vs collector value
This is where most sellers get shortchanged somewhere else. A 1921-D Morgan dollar has about $27 in silver. It might be worth $40, $60, or more depending on grade and demand. A coin shop that only weighs it loses you real money.
We separate the two. Anything that may have collector premium gets that evaluation. Bullion coins and junk silver get spot-based pricing. You see both numbers clearly before you decide anything.
How it works
1. Walk in during store hours. Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm. Saturday, 10am to 5pm. No appointment necessary.
2. We evaluate the collection. We sort by type, pull out potential collector pieces, and build the offer around the right value driver for each category.
3. You decide. Cash on the spot if you want to sell. No pressure, no obligation if you are still thinking it over.
