Most "we buy gold" shops treat coins like scrap. They weigh everything, multiply by spot, and hand you an offer. That works fine for bent chains and broken earrings. It does not work for a 1921-S Morgan in AU condition or a tube of silver Eagles bought at $18 spot.

We run a coin shop. That means we know the difference between bullion pricing and collector pricing, and we apply each one where it belongs. We buy Morgan dollars, Peace dollars, gold Eagles, silver rounds, 90% junk silver, proof sets, slabbed coins, foreign gold, and full estate collections. We also sell bullion and coins to collectors and investors who walk in looking to buy.

That two-way flow is what separates a coin shop from a gold buyer with a coin sign in the window.

Why we are expanding while others close

Independent coin shops across New Jersey have been closing for years. The owners retire, the lease goes up, or the next generation is not interested. That leaves gaps in towns that used to have a local coin dealer.

We are filling those gaps. Four stores, family-owned, all run by people who actually know coins. When a longtime collector in Middlesex County or Monmouth County needs a place to sell a collection or pick up bullion, we are the local option that did not disappear.

On the buy side: Morgan dollars, Peace dollars, American Gold Eagles, American Silver Eagles, Canadian Maple Leafs, Krugerrands, 90% silver quarters, dimes, and half dollars, silver bars, silver rounds, proof sets, mint sets, slabbed and graded coins, pre-1933 U.S. gold, foreign gold coins, and full estate collections.

On the sell side: We carry bullion, silver Eagles, gold Eagles, and select collector pieces depending on current inventory. Walk in or call ahead to ask what is in stock.

Metal value vs. collector value

This is the thing most gold buyers get wrong. A 1922 Peace dollar in average condition is worth its silver weight. A 1921 Peace dollar in the same condition is worth significantly more because of scarcity. If you do not know the difference, you cannot price coins correctly.

We know the difference. Every coin that comes across the counter gets evaluated on its own terms. Bullion gets bullion pricing. Better dates and higher grades get collector pricing. Slabbed coins are evaluated by the slab, not weighed like scrap.
